The Glasgow Alphas is the city’s only LGBT-inclusive rugby union club
We promote inclusion in rugby and believe that who you are and whom you love should never be barriers for those who want to play the sport they love
Based at Clydebank Community Sports Hub, we train twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and play games on Saturdays
We are governed by Scottish Rugby and are part of the IGR (International Gay Rugby)
We compete against other inclusive rugby clubs in Scotland and Northern England - as well as this we compete in international tournaments including the Union and Bingham Cups
We’re always happy to accept new members - whether you’ve played before or never been near a rugby ball
Off the pitch, we’re a fairly social bunch and we’re always happy to have new supporters, so if you don’t want to play but still want to be involved there is a place for you!
If you want to become an Alpha, we would love to hear from you! Please contact us here and we'll be in touch
